Louis Raguin was a French football referee .

Career at the national level

In 1932 Raguin was appointed the referee who was allowed to whistle the national cup final between AS Cannes and RC Roubaix , which produced a 1-0 victory for Cannes. A few months later, a professional league was introduced in France with Division 1 as the highest division in the country and Raguin was appointed as one of the referees; he was used on the first day of play and led the game between Olympique Lille and Olympique Marseille . In the further course of the 1930s, he kept his post. In 1939, however, the game was interrupted by the beginning of the Second World War and put an end to Raguin's career in the professional field, as the latter was no longer involved in the new edition in 1944.

Raguin chaired an international friendly match between Switzerland and Yugoslavia on July 5, 1933 ; on September 24th of the same year he was also on the pitch in an encounter between the Swiss B-Elf and Luxembourg .
