Louis le Pecq de la Clôture, also Louis Lépecq (born July 12, 1736 in Caen , † November 5, 1804 in St.Pierre de Azif ) was a French doctor and professor of surgery .

He was the son of a doctor and received his education in Caen, where he also received his doctorate and became a professor of medicine. He went to Rouen in 1768 , where he was responsible for the hospital and prisons, among other things. Under Louis XVI. in 1781 he even received the nobility elevation. In 1782 he also became president of the Académie des sciences, belles-lettres et arts de Rouen . For political reasons he later retired to his estate at St. Pierre de Azif , where he also died. He was considered one of the best doctors of the 18th century.

He married Marie Claude Geneviève Le Bon on January 4, 1780 in Rouen . The couple had the following children:

  • Louise Victoire Pauline Le Pecq de La Clôture ∞ Guillaume François Boistard-Premagny (* 1776)
