Louise Bours
Louise Bours (born December 23, 1968 in Congleton , England ) is a British actress and politician .
Life
Bours learned acting at the Mountview Conservatoire for the Performing Arts. She has appeared on many television series such as Peak Practice , Grown Ups , Band of Gold and Brookside .
She was Mayor of Congleton from 2006 to 2007 and joined the UK Independence Party (UKIP) in 2009 . She has been a member of the European Parliament since 2014 . There she is a member of the Committee on Culture and Education and a deputy member of the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality . In November 2018, she left the party due to UKIP's shift to the right.
