Louise Scharl , married Louise Savits , ( 1847 in Feldkirch - 1913 ) was a German-Austrian theater actress .

Life

Scharl, the daughter of a pharmacist, made her debut in Graz in 1864 as the “Maiden of Orleans”, then was engaged for a year in Hamburg, in 1866 and 1867 at the Augsburg City Theater and then joined the Weimar Court Theater Association.

The main advantage of this artist, whose career has been a relatively short one, was a soulful and intimate inwardness, which gave all her depictions a captivating, genuinely poetic charm, supported by an almost impressive appearance, by a gentle, soft and extremely sonorous voice of extremely deep feeling, and finally by a great compelling personal grace and kindness. Her language training was excellent and the clarity of her pronunciation was particularly praised. In terms of style, she belonged to the classical-romantic school and represented this traditional direction in Weimar in a truly excellent way. In 1878 she retired.

She was married to Jocza Savits from 1871 .
