action
The plot focuses on the two main characters Tessa and Frank. After her seven-year affair left Tessa at the beginning of season one, she meets Frank, a former plumber who has now gotten rich in the financial world as a contract and fund manager . The following episodes are about the ups and downs of their relationship, always with the question of whether they will stay together or not. Although they get married and have a daughter in the final and third seasons, that question remains unanswered until the end.
The two characters are supported by minor supporting roles that usually only last one episode. Only Jane Lapotaire in seasons one and two and Marc Taplow should be emphasized .
In 2003, a pilot film was planned in which the story of Frank and Tessa was to be continued. Due to the sudden death of Adam Faith, however, this project could no longer be realized.
