Low kick

The lowkick or low kick is a leg technique in karate , kickboxing and muay thai . The user attacks the opponent's thigh or calf with his foot or shin in order to weaken, unbalance or fall the opponent.

One or more low kicks against a fighter's leg, especially those kicked with the shin, can limit their ability to move so much that they can no longer defend themselves effectively. The consequence is either the task of the fighter or the termination of the fight by the referee .
