biography
Lu Chen became interested in magic at the age of seven, so that at the age of 12 he was able to successfully participate in a national youth magic competition, in which David Copperfield was on the jury and later encouraged him not to quit magic. However, he doubted himself to be able to become a professional magician, so after studying Japanese literature and the Japanese language at Soochow University he tried to find a regular job. Since he couldn't do this, he tried to earn money with his magic. In 2001 he managed to become the most successful show with his own television show Magic Star on the Taiwanese television station STAR Chinese Channel .
