Lubbert von Rodenberg (* in the 14th century; † 1396 ) was Vice-Dominus in Münster

Life

Lubbert von Rodenberg came from the Westphalian noble family von Rodenberg, which had its headquarters in the Rodenberg family . He was the son of Hermann von Rodenberg and his wife Luci. As canon of Münster, he was first mentioned in a document on April 9, 1367. In July 1371 he had resigned his Münster canonical and exchanged it for the Liège canon of Dietrich von der Mark . Lubbert was archdeacon of Borken , Winterswijk and Vreden. In 1388 he was chief foreman of the cathedral in Münster. After the death of Konrad von Westerhem, Bishop Otto von Hoya made him vice-nominee. In this function he was the representative of the sovereign .
