Lucas Nelson Ribeiro (born July 10, 2000 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

Ribeiro started his career at CA Cerro . In July 2017 he received a preliminary contract with the Austrian Bundesliga club FK Austria Wien . Austria Wien has not yet been able to sign the player as he was only 17 years old at the time.

After his 18th birthday, Ribeiro was finally signed by Austria in July 2018, where he is to play for the second team. He made his debut in the second division in August 2018 when he was in the starting line-up against SV Lafnitz on matchday five of the 2018/19 season and was replaced by Randy Montie in the 53rd minute . After three appearances in the second division, he was loaned back to Uruguay to Liverpool Montevideo in February 2020 .
