Lucas Ruiz Díaz , full name Lucas Aarón Ruiz Díaz Cajal , (born February 19, 1990 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ) is an Argentine football player .

Career

The 1.75 meter tall midfielder Ruiz Díaz has been a member of the reserve team (Formativas) of Nacional Montevideo since July 2009 . In January 2011 he was loaned to Plaza Colonia until the middle of the year and was used eleven times (no goal) in the Segunda División . In the Apertura of the 2011/12 season he was then on loan in the squad of the Uruguayan first division club El Tanque Sisley . In the half-series he was used three times (no goal) in the Primera División . For the Clausura 2012, in which he ran up eleven times (no goal) in the league, Nacional loaned the Argentine back to Plaza Colonia. He then moved permanently to the club from the southwest Uruguayan department of Colonia in July 2012 . In the 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons he played 25 and eight games respectively in the Segunda División. In the first mentioned season he scored one goal. In mid-January 2016, the second division Huracán Football Club signed him . By the end of the 2015/16 season he played 13 second division games (no goal) for the Montevideans. While no data are available for the 2016 season, he has played nine times (one goal) in the second-highest Uruguayan division in the 2017 season (as of August 19, 2017).
