Lucius Caesius Frontinus

Lucius Caesius Frontinus was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD .

A dedicatory inscription that was found at the Lavatrae fort and which is dated to 171/230, shows that Frontinus was prefect of the Cohors I Thracum , who was stationed in the province of Britannia . Another inscription was found at Lavatrae, on which Frontinus is listed as prefect of the unit. He was from Parma .
