Lucius Cornelius Pusio
Lucius Cornelius Pusio (full name form Lucius Cornelius Luci filius Galeria Pusio ) was a Roman politician and senator in the time from Nero to Vespasian .
His career became known through the discovery of a statue with an inscription. This was dedicated to him by a centurion who had served under Cornelius in the Legio XVI Gallica.
During his career he was four times vir viarum curandarum (civil servant), tribunus militum with the Legio XIIII Gemina , tribuno plebis ( tribune of the people ) and from about 54 to 56 AD legate of the Legio XVI Gallica .
In the early years of the reign of Emperor Vespasian he once held the suffect consulate , the exact year is not known. His son Lucius Cornelius Pusio Annius Messala also reached the suffect consulate.
Pusio was registered in the Tribus Galeria .
