Lucius Iulius Titus Statilius Severus

Lucius Iulius Titus Statilius Severus was a Roman politician living in the 2nd century AD . In an inscription his name is given as Lucius Iulius Severus .

An inscription dated December 11, 155, proves that Iulius Severus was 155 together with a Severus suffect consul ; this Severus was identified by Géza Alfoldy with Decimus Rupilius Severus . The two consuls held this office until the end of the year. Further inscriptions show that he was governor ( Legatus Augusti pro praetore ) of the province of Moesia inferior around 159/160 .
