Lucius Tiberius Claudius Pompeianus was a 3rd century Roman politician and senator .
Pompeianus came from Antiocheia . His father was Lucius Aurellius Commodus Pompeianus , who was consul in 209 and was executed by Caracalla during the great purge after Geta's death (end of 211/212).
Pompeianus was an ordinary consul in 231.
His full name - previously known only as Claudius Pompeianus - became known after the discovery of a military diploma .
