Lucius Tutilius Pontianus Gentianus was a 2nd century Roman senator .

Tutilius came from Emerita Augusta in the province of Lusitania . He was in the year 183, the successor to the emperor Commodus in office Suffektkonsul . It is possible that he can be identified with Tutilius , a former lover of Faustina , the mother of Commodus, named in the Historia Augusta , whose appointment as consul led the Senate to deride the emperor with the title of Pius ("the pious") (183).
