The Luck Point ( English for Glückslandspitze ) is a headland on the west side of the entrance to the Sea Leopard Fjord in the Bay of Isles on the north coast of South Georgia .
The name probably goes back to scientists from the British Discovery Investigations , who carried out geodetic surveys of the area around the headland from 1929 to 1930 .
