Lucy Dubinchik ( Hebrew לוסי דובינצ'יק, Russian Люси Дубинчик ; * December 17, 1982 in Moscow , USSR ) is an Israeli actress . She was best known for the feature film Saint Clara .

Life

Lucy Dubinchik was born in Moscow; her father comes from the Ukrainian SSR . After perestroika in 1989, she emigrated to Israel with her family. In 1996 she made her debut with Maya Maron in Saint Clara , a film by Ari Folman . She played a Russian girl who uses her clairvoyant skills to throw an Israeli desert city into anarchy and chaos. She won the Ophir Award for Best Actress for her performance and was the youngest winner of the Ophir at the age of 14. She then starred in several episodes of the successful telenovela Florentine (by Eytan Fox ). She then played a role in Yana's Friends , a film about the problems of Soviet immigrants during the Gulf War. After that, she alternated roles on Israeli television and in the cinema. In 2010 she was on the side of Heiner Lauterbach in the ZDF - TV movie Mörderischer visit to see.

In 2007 she married Johnny Peterson and gave birth to their daughter Alma. On August 1, 2017, she fell from the fourth floor of her home and was seriously injured.
