Lud, zbunjen, normalan ( German : crazy, confused, normal ) is a comedy series from Bosnia and Herzegovina . The series is popular across the Balkans and is considered the most successful series since the fall of Yugoslavia. The first episode Opća zabuna (General (r) misunderstanding (error)) was broadcast on September 2, 2007 on the Bosnian channel FTV . It was shown for the first time on October 7, 2007 on the Croatian channel Nova TV and has since achieved high ratings in the entire Balkans. The 3rd season started on January 3, 2010.

action

The series takes place mainly in a five-story apartment building in central Sarajevo . The Fazlinović family lives in this house in a three-room apartment. The family consists of the pensioner Izet Fazlinović , who is always a cause for concern and is very immature for his age, but very funny and smart. The second in the league is Izet's son, Faruk Fazlinović . He runs a music studio. With his co-workers Ivana (later the pretty Selma ) and a male co-worker (the co-worker is switched over in the course of the series), he always experiences funny things, which is also due to the mishap of the male co-workers. The youngest in the house and Faruk's son is Damir Fazlinović . He is a medical student and has excellent grades, so he is also the smartest and most mature of the whole family and always comes into conflict with his grandfather Izet. In addition, the Fazlinovićs have hired a housemaid, who has changed her a few times over the years. She takes care of the men, cleans and cooks what the men are not able to do. The housewife is always on her nerves when she sees what is going on in the house. Opposite the apartment building is a café where Marija and initially the pretty young Selma and Maria's husband Stjepan (from whom she later divorced) work. This café is frequented by the residents of the house, and strange events also happen there.

Leading roles

Izet Fazlinović , despite being the oldest of the family, is the most immature. He loves women, likes to drink when he's thirsty and smokes a lot (in one episode he even accidentally smokes hashish). He argues with everyone in the house, mostly with his grandson Damir, because he is afraid that Damir won't be like him because he doesn't smoke, don't drink and doesn't go out at night, but instead mostly stays at home and studies. A person with whom Izet also likes to argue is Dino, because he has stretched his great love for him (see: Dino ). Izet is the funniest in the house, but can drive others to despair if he B. wants to control everything or scold us pointlessly. Izet is crazy about money and would do anything to get it, e.g. B. In one episode he tried to eat over 500 hot peppers to get into the Guinness Book of Records and win $ 40,000. He then collapsed and had his stomach pumped out in the hospital. In another episode he tried to break his leg to get money from the insurance company. All of his attempts failed, only when he happened to look after a woman on the street he was hit by a car and broke his leg, which he was very happy about.

Faruk Fazlinović is the son of Izet and the father of Damir. His wife left him after giving birth to Damir. His mother died when he was very young. Faruk runs a music studio with his friends Ivana and Dino. He is very open and popular with all of his fellow men. He always raves about past years and talks a lot about it, especially with Ivana. Later he and Ivana enter into a relationship, the two try to hide it at first, but Damir finds out about them. Faruk often argues with Izet and mostly addresses him by his first name out of disrespect. He doesn't even try to be like him, but sometimes there are some parallels to his father. He once tried to steal a picture from Izet because he had learned from a friend that the picture was very valuable.

Damir Fazlinović is Faruk's son and Izet's grandson. He addresses both of them by their first names, which has nothing to do with disrespect. He is learning a lot for his medical degree and has very good grades. Although he is the youngest, he appears to be the "most well-bred". Due to his studies, he has little time for private matters, which means that he doesn't have many friends. As a result, he has a special relationship with the housemaid Šefika, but he always clashes with grandfather Izet because he has no understanding for his studies. Damir also has a good relationship with his father and often tries to work with him to counter Iset's behavior. In Season 1, Damir even has a girlfriend for a short time, Alma, whom he met while studying.

Šefika is the first housemaid and works for the Fazlinovićs for 300 marks. She has a good relationship with all residents, even with the oldest Izet, although he always touches her and always tells her that she fell from Mars. Šefika is very caring and loves to cook. She has a special relationship with Damir and replaces the mother he never had. Sometimes Šefika is also at her nerve when she sees what is going on in the house.

Ivana works as a secretary in Faruk's music studio and has a special relationship with him. She always listens to him and later falls in love with him, whereupon the two become a couple. Ivana is very open to all of her people and always tries to help those who need help, such as: B. Dino, whom she z. B. finds an apartment or pays him medicine after contracting gonorrhea after having sex without a condom .

Dino works as a sound engineer in Faruk's music studio. He is very overweight and not exactly the smartest. In an IQ test, he finds out that he only has an IQ of 17. He only thinks about food and prefers to eat hamburgers. At first, Dino is crazy about Selma. But afterwards he falls in love with the Fazlinovićs' neighbor, Spomenka, 29 years his senior. After moving in with her, he marries her, although Izet was in love with her too. Since then, the two have always argued. Otherwise, Dino has a good relationship with everyone, especially Faruk and Ivana. Dino always makes people laugh with his funny comments and actions, e.g. B. he lets Coke run over Faruk's mixer once, whereupon it goes up in flames and Dino screams in shock: "Oh no ... my Coke!"

Čombe also works like Dino in Faruk's music studio and is not really any smarter than him. Dino is his best friend. However, Čombe is just his nickname, his real name is Dragan Čmar , which translates as "Dragan asshole". He has his name changed in one episode, but only his first name. This is further evidence of his "high" intelligence.

Stjepan and Marija are a married couple and run a café opposite the Fazlinović's apartment. Marija is the more dominant of the two and always seems to have control over her husband, but he denies this and mostly lets the macho hang out, but of course only when Marija is not there.

Selma works as a waitress in Stjepan's and Marija's café. She is very pretty and modern. She likes to talk, especially with Ivana. Dino is crazy about her, but has no chance.

New people

New people for the new season:

Ajna is the friend of Faruk Fazlinović and moves together with her father Sukrija from Split in Croatia to the Fazlinovićs in Sarajevo. She is very selfish and does everything to not lose Faruk, sometimes using violence against Faruk. Faruk wants to break up with her over the course of the season, but is afraid that Ajna will hurt him. This suspicion also proves to be correct when Faruk tries to run away with Senada. However, Ajna found him and used force against Farouk to intimidate him. She is also a terrible housewife. The only reason why he started a relationship with Ajna in the first place was for Faruk because she was a "sex bomb".

Sukrija is the father of Ajna and moved with her to the Fazlinovićs. He gets on well with Izet and they sometimes drink together. In the meantime, he was married (for a few days) to Čombe's mother, Fadila Čmar, but divorced after finding out that she wanted to poison him. This suspicion is confirmed when Čombe comes home with mother Fadila. He was hungry and accidentally ate from the plate intended for Sukrija and passed out shortly afterwards, but survived.

Refko is Dinos brother. Since Dino died, he traveled from Zagreb, Croatia to Sarajevo to attend his funeral. He sold his car to raise money for Dino's funeral. Later, however, he could not afford a return ticket and therefore stayed in Sarajevo. Thanks to his stupidity, he will probably never raise money for it - so he asked Izet in one episode to only demine a field 20 KM . In addition, like Dino, he is very overweight.

Zumra is the new housemaid with the Fazlinovićs and Izets relatives and like her predecessor is not the smartest either.

Barbara is Damir's wife and the mother of their child, Džemal (-Branko). She works as an actress and betrays Damir with someone else. Later that season, she and her boyfriend flew for Los Angeles after stealing the money Izet and Damir won at a casino.

Džemal , also called Džemal-Branko by Izet , is Barbara and Damir's son. His name, which Izet came up with, is based on the socialist politicians Džemal Bijedić and Branko Mikulić . He takes care of the baby and reads to him from books about communism. He also explains sex to him in his own way, and how to behave when talking to a lady, but pretends to read him from fairy tale books and play Lego with him. His nickname is Džebra, derived from his name Džemal-Branko.

Scheme of the series

In the series Lud, zbunjen, normalan one can recognize a very specific scheme. There are always grievances between the residents of the apartment building. There are always two different, seemingly independent processes shown by two different people, who then usually come together by chance at the end. This meeting then leads to a funny act.

example: As a result, Silikonska Dolina (Silicon Valley) water runs through a leak in the window of the music studio. Faruk is very angry about it. But Dino can calm him down and tells him about a relative who is an expert in sealing windows. He tells him that he can seal the window with the help of silicone. Faruk sends Dino to the relative to solve the problem and Dino is on his way. At the same time, Ivana had a visit from her cousin, who told her about her new husband. She explains to Ivana that her husband is a plastic surgeon and has used implants. She tries to persuade Ivana to have some used. Ivana skeptically agrees and her cousin promises her that her husband will come immediately to look at the matter. Ivana agrees, but asks her cousin to send him to the music studio because she has to work. After half an hour, Dino's relative comes to the music studio and introduces himself to Ivana as a silicone expert. Ivana assumes that he is her cousin's husband and starts to undress. The man is initially shocked and assumes a line-up and also wants to undress. At that moment the real surgeon comes into the music studio and wonders what's going on.
