The Ludgate Hill was an English liner of the Twin Screw Line .

The Ludgate Hill was built in 1881 for the Twin Screw Line and was one of the first twin screw ships of the line on the North Atlantic route . In 1897 she bought the English Allan Line and used it in the South America service.
In 1914 she was sunk as a blockade ship during an attack on the port of Dover . After the war, the cremated remains were scrapped.
