Ludger Kilian

Ludger Kilian (* in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German architect.

Live and act

He was born in Frankfurt / Main and graduated from the Carl Schurz School there in 1978 . He then studied architecture at the Technical University in Darmstadt. After his studies he worked with Ieoh Ming Pei in Paris and with Richard Meier in New York. He later worked as an architect in Stuttgart for four years and has been working in Dresden since 1992. From 1995 to 1997 he built buildings at Tanneberger Weg 44 in Neu- Gorbitz and accepted a teaching position for the basics of design at the Technical University of Dresden . He is the second chairman of the German Werkbund Sachsen. In 2007 he received the 1st prize for the design of the Rathausplatz in Oelsnitz .
