Live and act

Nothing is currently known about Ludmilla Hell's training. She came to Berlin early on, where she married the director (together with Rudolf Bernauer ) of the Berlin theater , Carl Meinhard , in 1907 . This cast them with roles on his stage, so performances by Ludmilla Hell at guest performances of the Berlin theater in 1909 in Prague and Vienna can be proven. In 1914 the couple divorced.

In 1918/19 Ludmilla Hell appeared at the Vienna Volksbühne , in 1922 at the Berlin Theater am Kurfürstendamm , and in the following years she was occasionally seen at Berlin theaters. From 1939 until after the Second World War she worked in the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna. In 1939 she appeared in front of the film camera for Maria Ilona in Berlin , and in the late 1940s and early 1950s she was also regularly seen in Austrian cinema productions. Her part of Princess Lichnowsky in the Beethoven biopic Eroica is best remembered . In later years the actress withdrew more and more into private life.
