Ludolf Jobst von Schorlemer came from the Westphalian noble family von Schorlemer and was the son of Konrad von Schorlemer and his wife Ermgard von Hoete. The Turnar presented it on 11 February 1626 for the Münstersche Dompräbende to which the canon Dietrich Wilhelm Kevers avoided had. With the revolt to the families Schorlemer, Hoete and Meschede on March 11th of that year Ludolf took possession of the prebende. His emancipation fell on July 17, 1627. A year later he asked for a study leave in Italy. There is no evidence that he graduated from university because he died on March 19, 1630.
