Ludwig Cron

Ludwig Cron was a German surgeon in the 18th century.

Life

Cron began working as a surgeon from around 1686. He spent his apprenticeship years in Basel , Strasbourg , Landau an der Isar and Würzburg . Until around 1692 he was a field surgeon for the Bavarian electoral artillery. From 1692 he worked as a council surgeon in the free imperial city of Nordhausen and around 1706 became personal surgeon Ludwig Friedrich I of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt . In 1706 he published his second doctor's book on tooth extraction , which was published in 1717 and made him a pioneer of tooth extraction.
