Ludwig Heinrich Abel

Ludwig Heinrich Abel (born September 9, 1754 in Vaihingen an der Enz , † June 11, 1818 in Münsingen ) was a Württemberg governor.

life and work

The son of a magistrate studied law in Tübingen and Göttingen. From 1775 to 1779 he worked as a law firm advocate. In 1779 he was appointed senior magistrate and staff officer at the Hochberg district administration. In 1782 he became senior magistrate, cellar and court relative at the Nagold District Office and from 1795 to 1807 Senior District Administrator, cellar, clerical administrator and head of department in Möckmühl. In 1807 and 1808 he was senior bailiff at the newly created Oberamt Giengen , which was dissolved again in 1808. From 1809 to 1818 he was then head of the Münsingen Oberamt .
