Ludwig Kruhöffer

Johann Christian Ludwig Kruhöffer (born February 8, 1811 in Thal ; † September 3, 1900 there ) was a German forester and politician .

Kruhöffer was the son of the forester Georg Kruhöffer and his wife Charlotte nee Althaus. He married Caroline Marie Louise Friederike Lutter from Pyrmont on October 28, 1845 in Oesdorf. Kruhöffer worked in the forest service from 1824. From 1824 to 1827 he trained in the Oesdorf Forest and in 1841 was promoted from the forest candidate to the district forester in Thal. In 1846 he was also given the management of the Baars forest. In 1857 he was transferred to Volkhardinghausen and in 1867 he was transferred to the Lichtenfels Forest near Dalwigksthal. In 1873 he retired as head forester.

From 1850 to 1853 he was a member of the special state parliament for the Principality of Pyrmont .
