Ludwig von Keller

Ludwig Friedrich Heinrich Ferdinand Freiherr von Keller (born April 20, 1760 in Stedten , † June 3, 1835 in Potsdam ) was a German politician . He was a Prussian district administrator .

Life

Keller was the son of Christof Dietrich Freiherr von Keller (1699–1766) and Auguste Louise Eleonore Freiin von Mauchenheim called von Bechtholsheim (1732–1781) and continued the baronial line of the von Keller family , while his older brother Christoph moved to the Prussian count was raised. Ludwig was initially an officer with the rank of major as well as chamberlain in Nassau-Weilburg services and in 1819 succeeded Anton von Hardenberg as district administrator of the Mansfeld mountain district in the Merseburg administrative district of the Prussian province of Saxony . Keller stayed in office until 1824.

Since 1786 he was married to Auguste Johanne Henriette Freiin von Niebecker (1760-1832) on Kitzscher , with whom he had at least seven children.
