Ludwigshöh

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ludwigshöh is a deserted courtyard in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland , around 90 kilometers northeast of Szczecin .

At the beginning of the 20th century , a single courtyard was created from the village of Schwedt , about 1 kilometer west of the village and about 500 meters northwest of the Althof residential area , which was named Ludwigshöh. The owner around 1919 was a Ludwig Büttner , the last owner until 1945 was a Reinhold Büttner . 14 inhabitants lived in Ludwigshöh (as of 1925). From Ludwigshöh (as of 1939) 80 hectares of land were cultivated.

Until 1945 Ludwigshöh formed a residential area of the rural community Schwedt and belonged with this to the district of Kolberg-Körlin in the province of Pomerania .

After the Second World War , Ludwigshöh, like all of the Pomerania, came to Poland. Today the place is desolate. The desert lies in the area of Powiat Kołobrzeski (Kolberger Kreis) , on the border between Gmina Rymań (rural community Roman) and Gmina Siemyśl (rural community Simötzel) .
