Ludwigsmühle (Worms)
The Ludwigsmühle in Worms is a mill built around 1906 . It is about a 30 meter high historical building that stands directly on the Rhine bridge and is visible from afar, especially from the Rhine .

At the turn of the 19th / 20th In the 19th century, the area in the north of Worms, which lies directly on the Rhine, developed into a mill bank. Due to the high turnover that the mills achieved and because of the high degree of mechanization at that time, they nonetheless occupied an important position in the Worms economy, which was developing at that time. At that time, the mills 'turnover was in second place in Worms' economic power, directly behind the leather industry.
Of the Ludwigsmühle, formerly Matthäi & Weil , only the northern part of the building still exists; the much larger main house is no longer available. A modern extension building now stands in its place. Together with the remaining northern wing of the building, the mill still serves the purpose of a grain mill today. Storage and handling services are also offered.
