The industrial area Worms-Nord is an industrial area in the independent city of Worms am Rhein . While the chemical industry dominates in the south with plants from Evonik Industries , Procter & Gamble and Grace Company , the north is dominated by logistics companies such as Fiege Logistik and Trans Service Team .

The industrial area of ​​Worms-Nord lies in a ribbon along the B 9 between the Riedbahn in the south and Worms-Rheindürkheim in the north. It is bounded in the east by the Rhine and in the west by the Mainz – Ludwigshafen railway line . Smaller areas in the north of the industrial area are in the Osthofen district .

Archaeological finds

In the industrial area, parts of a Celtic burial ground from the late Bronze , Hallstatt and Latène Ages (1400 to 15 BC) have been archaeologically examined since the 1930s, suggesting that a Celtic settlement was located here. By 2013, 209 graves were found, including 80 circular moats . The princess grave discovered in 1952 and the princely grave opened in 2012 were significant finds.
