The air defense bunker Erndtebrück , called bunker Erich , is a partially-utilized, formerly secret NATO - Bunker near Erndtebrück in Rothaargebirge ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ) from which the military air traffic control in the central area of German airspace in the Cold War was controlled.

The bunker was closed for fire protection reasons and may no longer be used by the Air Force . The operational command area 2 with the associated Control and Reporting Center (CRC) is today a highly modern ECM-hardened above-ground use building in the area of Hachenberg Barracks ( out) in Erndtebrück.

The bunker itself houses a LARP and airsoft area. In addition, the premises are used as a location for various music videos.
