Luigi Forino
Luigi Forino (born August 20, 1868 in Rome , † June 5, 1936 there ) was an Italian-Argentine cellist and music teacher.
From 1901 Forino was director of the Conservatorio Nacional in Buenos Aires and professor of harmony and counterpoint. On his return to Rome he taught at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia . He edited cello sonatas by Luigi Boccherini and wrote a history of the cello and the cellists ( Il violoncello: il violoncellista ed i violoncellisti , 1936). He also published a five-volume cello tutorial.
