Luigi Perelli

Luigi Perelli (born October 26, 1937 in La Spezia ) is an Italian television director , documentary filmmaker and screenwriter .

Life

Perello attended the University of Florence , where he received a degree in political science . He then graduated in 1963 at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in directing; but initially he worked as a journalist and cinema reporter. In 1963 he became editor of the magazine "Comunicazioni di massa". From 1965 onwards, Perelli made a name for himself as a documentary filmmaker who worked on social and historical issues (such as the important Al Fatah - Palestina , Portogallo, nascita della libertà and I giorni di Brescia ). Two years later he worked briefly as an assistant director for four genre films; from 1969 he was himself a director of fictional material, often for television. He only submitted theatrical works three times; however, his work for the screen was influential and extremely popular. Works such as several seasons of the crime series Alone against the Mafia as well as Quei trentasei gradini , Se un giorno buserai and from 2003 to 2010 Un caso di coscienza were created under him .
