Luis Carlos dos Santos Martins , called Maranhão , (born June 19, 1984 in São Luís , Maranhão ) is a Brazilian football player .
Career
The player starts his career in Brazil with Sertãozinho FC in the state of São Paulo . After playing for several lower-class clubs, he moved to the Japanese first division club Ventforet Kofu in 2008 as a 24-year-old . Here he came to regular assignments, but was loaned to other clubs in Japan and Korea after a short time .
In 2016 he first played for the Atlético Monte Azul in the second division of the São Paulo state championship . Then Maranhão went back to South Korea for Gangwon FC .
