Lukas Dolgner

Lukas Dolgner (born November 8, 1993 in Langenhagen ) is a German cameraman .

Life

Dolgner grew up near Hanover as the son of a heating installer and a bank clerk. As a child, he made his first stop-motion films with his parents' camcorder. His first live-action short film Und der Himmel ist Blau (2010) brought him first successes at local school and youth film festivals. In 2012 he shot his first feature film as a cameraman, directed by R. Scott Williams in Prague.

Dolgner has lived in Berlin since 2013 and initially trained as a media designer, Bild u. Sound in a film equipment rental. During his training, he met the Austrian artist Kevin Kopacka , with whom he made the short film HADES in 2014 . The film screened at festivals around the world and won several awards.

After further jointly produced films, Dolgner and Kopacka finally shot the feature film Dawn Breaks Behind the Eyes .
