The Evangelical St. Luke Church in Cologne-Porz was built in Art Nouveau from 1914 according to plans by Max Benirschke .

It is a hall church with a tower on the west facade, the two-tier tower spire with a half-ton as the top end is based on the wedding tower of Joseph Maria Olbrich on Mathildenhöhe in Darmstadt. Above the entrance gate is a depiction of the Eye of Providence .

In 1927 the church was furnished in the style of expressionism . The Lukaskirche was the mother church of the evangelical community in Porz.

Since 1982, the Lukas Church stands as a monument in Cologne-Porz under monument protection .
