Luna (singer)

Luna Melis (born January 15, 2002 in Uta , province of Cagliari ), mostly just Luna , is an Italian pop singer and rapper .

Career

At the suggestion of her father, Luna successfully took part in a singing competition at the age of eight. In 2013 she started the casting show Io canto on Canale 5 . After those early experiences, she ventured back into the limelight in 2018 when she made it through the castings for season 12 of X Factor and finished third in the finale. With her song Los Angeles , Luna reached number six in the singles charts and was awarded a platinum record. This was followed by the single Donna domani in collaboration with the rapper Chadia Rodríguez . In 2019, Luna opened a concert by Rita Ora and eventually returned to television as the host of X Factor Daily .
