The Lunapark is part of the Buckow spa park , an official city in the Märkisch-Oderland district in Brandenburg .

Location and layout

The park is located southwest of the old town of Buckow between Buckowsee and Buckowseepromenade. This also provides access to the park from the south. From the north there is access via Werderstrasse and Gummiweg. This is a connection between Werderstrasse and the park. The barbed dam , which is partly lined with robinia piles, enables a crossing of the partly boggy subsoil of the Schwarzerlenbruch. To the west, the park can be entered via Bertolt-Brecht-Straße along the Brecht-Weigel-Haus . It is part of the city's "terrain spa network".

In the middle of the park there is a double circular edged footpath, which was overgrown by spontaneous vegetation in May 2014 . A shelter is set up in the western area ; In the direction of Buckowsee there is a covered vantage point behind a lawn, which allows a panoramic view of the old town with the parish church . South of the lawn, the park merges into the Ice Age Garden . From there a path leads to the Ferdinandshöhe . There have been considerations for a long time to build a lookout tower.
