Luo Jingmin

Luo Jingmin ( Chinese  羅京民  /  罗京民 , Pinyin Luó Jīngmín , Jyutping Luo 2 Jing 1 min 2 ; born January 31, 1956 in Xi'an ) is a Chinese actor.

biography

He was a stage actor in his hometown of Xi'an for more than 30 years and has also appeared in films since 1988. He became better known in 2006 through the war film Attack of the Soldiers ( Chinese  士兵 突击 , Pinyin shìbīng tújí ).

His final breakthrough came with the film Grandchildren from the United States ( Chinese  孙子 从 美国 来 , Pinyin sūnzi cóng měiguó lái ). In the film, in which he also acts as a director, Luo Jingmin takes on the role of Lao Yang, a shadow player who unexpectedly receives a visit from his son, who has emigrated to the USA, and then has to take care of his grandson because his son Has to go to Hoh Xil for a few days on business . The film was also the first leading role for Luo, who has since been cast in more significant roles.
