Lushui
Lushui ( Chinese 泸水 市 , Pinyin Lúshuǐ Xiàn ) is an independent city in the northwest of the Chinese province of Yunnan . It belongs to the administrative area of the Nujiang Autonomous District of Lisu Nationality and is also home to the government of this autonomous district. Lushui has an area of 3203.04 km² and has a population of 187,000. Lushui is located directly on the border with Myanmar , it shares a border length of 136.241 kilometers with the neighboring state.
The Saluen River, which is called Nu Jiang (怒江) in China, flows through the territory of Lushui from north to south . In the east it is shaped by the Nu Shan mountain range , in the west by the Gaoligong Shan .
Attractions for visitors include Tingming Hu Mountain Lake , Dishui He River waterfalls, and Yinhe Dong Cave .
Administrative structure
At the community level, Lushui consists of six large communities and three communities , one of which is a national community. These are:
- Greater community Liuku (六库镇);
- Greater community Luzhang (鲁掌镇);
- Pianma Municipality (片 马镇);
- Greater community Shangjiang (上江镇);
- Greater community Daxingdi (大兴地镇);
- Greater community Laowo (老窝镇);
- Chenggan Township (称 杆 乡);
- Gudeng municipality (古 登 乡);
- Community Luobenzhuo the Bai (洛本卓白族乡).
The seat of government is in Liuku Township .
