Lust strip is a 2009 founded LGBTI - Film Festival , held annually in Basel takes place.

The festival was founded in Basel in 2009 based on the example of other Swiss LGBTI film festivals and is now one of the larger events of its kind in the country alongside the Queersicht in Bern and the Zurich Film Festival . In 2018 the event attracted around 2,500 visitors from all over Switzerland as well as guests from England , Italy and Norway .

According to its own statements, the festival is dedicated to topics of diversity, equality and gender issues. The aim here is to establish a discussion platform through which LGBTI questions can be heard and made more visible.

The program lists around forty films each with a different main topic each year. The films and works shown have an international focus and are not limited to Switzerland.
