Lute Olson
Robert "Lute" Olson (born September 22, 1934 in Mayville , North Dakota ) is an American basketball coach .
From 1983 to 2008 he coached the University of Arizona team . Before that, he was employed at Long Beach City College from 1969 to 1973 , from 1973 to 1974 at Long Beach State and from 1974 to 1983 at the University of Iowa . His overall record as a college coach is 781-280 wins.
On September 27, 2002, Olson was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame .
