Lutz-Peter Michna

Lutz-Peter "LP" Michna (born December 11, 1954 in East Berlin , † 2012 in Berlin-Pankow ) was a German photographer and graphic designer .

Life

After graduating as a photographer at the Potsdam Chamber of Crafts in 1982, Michna began working as a full-time photographer for the military image service of the National People's Army (NVA). In addition to reportage photography for the NVA's military publishing house, Michna also worked as a photo artist. In 1981 the photo series “Short acquaintances in Romania” appeared. In 2008 he was the main photographer in charge of the “Pankower Bilderbögen” project.
