Lutz Volke

Lutz Volke (* 1940 in Magdeburg ) is a German audio drama writer.

Volke studied German and Nordic studies at the University of Greifswald. In 1972 he became a radio dramaturge at the radio of the GDR , where he worked for the international radio drama department. In 1983 he received his doctorate with a thesis on reality relationships in radio plays in the FRG (1950-1980) .

After the fall of the Berlin Wall, Lutz Volke moved to the SFB , later: RBB , where he was head of the radio play department. As an author, he is also known for his adaptations and translations from Nordic languages ​​and literary work.
