Luxembourg wine queen

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Luxembourg Wine Queen ( Luxembourgish : Lëtzebuerger Wäikinnigin ) represents the wines and the Luxembourg wine . It is crowned every year on the second weekend in September at the Grape and Wine Festival in Grevenmacher . This festival has been celebrated since 1950 (last castle: Drauwen- a Wäifest , French: Fête du Raisin et du Vin ).

Special feature: Before her coronation, the Luxembourg wine queen usually completes a four-year "apprenticeship" as a wine princess at the side of her royal predecessors.
