The Monte Gavia is a 3223 m slm high mountain in the Sobretta-Gavia group in the Lombardy Alps ( Lombardy , Italy ). The mountain stands northwest of the Gavia pass, the apex of which it towers over by around 600 meters. A former war trail from the Alpine War leads up the mountain . It is part of the Stilfserjoch National Park .
