The Luxgen S5 , formerly also marketed as the Luxgen 5 , is a sedan from the Taiwan- based Luxgen brand .
The vehicle debuted at the Tapei Auto Show in November 2011 and went on sale in Taiwan in December 2011. The sedan has also been sold in China since July 2013 . After the debut at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2015, the revised version was introduced. The car is not available in other markets.
The Luxgen U6 SUV launched in November 2013 is based on the S5.
