The Ellisbreen is a 6 km long glacier in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . In the mountains of Sør Rondane it flows from Walnumfjella in a northerly direction between Gillockbreen and Jenningsbreen .
Norwegian cartographers mapped it in 1957 using aerial photographs taken during the US Operation Highjump (1946–1947). They named the glacier after Edwin E. Ellis (* 1924) of the United States Navy , photographer on the flights of Operation Highjump to take aerial photos between 14 ° and 164 ° east longitude.
