Lynsay Sands
Lynsay Sands (* in Leamington, Ontario ) is a Canadian author. She writes both historical and supernatural stories that are shaped by her special humor. She is best known for her series about the Argeneau family, a modern vampire family. She has received several awards for her over 30 books.
Life
Lynsay Sands grew up in southern Ontario. Before going to college, Sands sent a manuscript to Harlequin Enterprises. When she was asked in an answer to rewrite it and to send everything else she had written to the publisher, she understood this as a rejection. She began studying at Windsor University and worked on the side. Lynsay Sands published her first book The Deed (German title: Nights of Passion ) in 1997. Sands has written for 3 publishers: HarperCollin, Dorchester and Kensington. Her books have been on the Waldenbooks, Barnes & Noble, USA Today and The New York Times bestseller lists.
