The Lynx Rocks are a group of cliff rocks in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . They are in Hero Bay on Livingston Island , west of Siddons Point .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1958 after the Australian seal hunter Lynx from Sydney , who operated in the waters around the southern Shetland Islands between 1820 and 1821 and between 1821 and 1822.
