The Siddons Point is a headland on the north coast of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It lies halfway along the shores of Hero Bay , separating Maleshevo Cove in the southwest from Vasilev Bay in the southeast.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1958 after Captain Richard Siddins [sic!] (1770-1846), who had operated with the sealer Lynx from Sydney between 1820 and 1821 and from 1821 to 1822 in the waters around the South Shetland Islands.
